Comparison of adjectives

Adjectives are often used in the form of comparison, taht is when we want to compare between the properties of an object with the properties of an object, etc. there are three levels of comparison (degree of comparison) that are commonly used in the United Kingdom.

1. Positive Degree
Positive degree is used for comparing two or more objects that have properties similiar or equivalent. These are two types, namely :

a. Comparison of the equivalent
Comparison formulas equivalent positive is Subject + to be + as + adjective + as + object.
For more details, please see the examples in the following wording :

- Chandra is as smart as hid older brother
- katy Perry is as beautiful as the moon
- You are as old as Dhani's father

b. Negative Equivalent Comparison
Equivalent negative comparisons with the formula Subject + to be + not + as/so + adjective + as + object
Examples of the second sentence of that formula is :

- Chandra is not as smart as his older brother.
- Simon Santoso is not as strong as Lee Chong Wei.

2. Comparative Degree
Comparative degree is used to compare two or more things which is not  equivalent. In other words, the one noun had excess than other objects. You can simply add the suffix-er in the back or add more adjectives in front of an adjective. Don't forget to wear than before the mention of the object.

The formula :
- Subject + to be + adjective + er + than + object
- Subject + to be + more + adjective + than + object

Example :
- Lee Chong Wei is stronger than simon santoso.
- Anas more diligent tahn Lutfi.

3. The Superlative
Superlative degree used to compare two or more objects, where one object is most/ter ... from other objects. You can simply add the suffix-est adjectives behind or add most in fornt of an adjective.  Don't forget to add most the before an adjective that functions as that snacks the assert.

Examples :
- Sahrul is the tallest boy among us
- Mr. Susilo was the oldest man in the meeting
- The taj mahal is the most luxurious cemetery in the world
- Christina Ronaldo is the most expensive football player in the world.
